How do GroupSolver AI Open-Ends work?

Our approach to AI Open-Ended questions is one of the most unique aspects of our platform. Unlike most research tools, we can quantify and analyze respondents' unfiltered reactions to questions and stimuli.

Check out this video to learn more about our unique approach. πŸ‘‡

Creating an AI Open-End question:

Click the "+" and select the AI Open-End.

A text box will appear on the left panel of the Study design. Start typing your question inside the Question box.

You may modify the "seconds to read" portion if you'd like to force respondents to spend more time reading the text before being shown the options. The default is always 1 second.

Note: We recommend 1-3 seconds for each sentence in the question.

You may add/upload stimuli by clicking on the "Media Manager" icon. You can upload any images, videos, gifs, etc., relevant to your Choice question.

Options

Click on the "Options" tab to continue building your AI Open-Ended question.

Use the "Display Name" field to name your question. The dashboard will give your question a generic name, but to ease navigation in the future, make sure to give your module a relevant, unique identifier.

You can toggle on and off an AI Open-End's Elimination or Elaboration phases. Toggle these options off if you want respondents to skip these phases but would still like the open-ended question filters to continue on the back end. Otherwise, you may instead want to use a standard open-ended question, such as our Free-text option.

You can also add "Preseeded answers." A pre-seeded answer is helpful if you want the audience to evaluate a specific answer. Be aware that pre-seeded answers appear as regular respondent answers, so respondents will evaluate your pre-seeded answers as regular answers, allowing you to test varying hypotheses.

Note: The more pre-seeded answers you input, the fewer respondent ideations will be in the Idea Pool, so it is recommended to be selective in choosing which answers to pre-seed.

More options
